Best 2 Stroke Upgrade There Is 1 people found this helpfulSimply put this is the best upgrade for a 2 stroke you can buy. I ride from 4000 ft to 12,000 feet in elevation in Colorado and Utah. No matter how much money and time you sink into the standard PWK38 it will never run well all the time. I don't know that the bike has more power but it does run better at all RPM's and uses less fuel than ever before. We all spend hours jetting carbs and wishing it was right when it's not. This just runs all the time in all weather and at all elevations. I adjusted the idle speed and that was it and it runs great everywhere. If you want the ease and consistency of a fuel injected 4 stroke but the feeling, weight, and agility of a 2 stroke, buy this carb and put it on your 2 stroke and be done with it! It's a great product and you won't be disappointed!

Right out of the box the thing runs beautifully and the plug color is a perfect brown thx lectron for the awesome product worth every penny in my opinion just for tuning ease alone

After I rebuilt my 2000 Yz250 2smoke from the ground up I couldn’t get the stock carb back In tune so after reading a comment about someone experiencing the same thing I pulled the trigger on the Lectron. I wish I would have sooner, the bike started up with a few kicks and holy S#^t does this carb make a difference I was blown away after the first ride. The bike Sounds so crisp and the lighter throttle is nice as well.

Worth every penny 2 people found this helpfulI recently sold my fuel injected 450 and went back to a yz250x. Being on a fuel injected bike for so long made me forget how bad carburetors run at different elevations. On my second trip out with my brand new bike I fouled a plug, it was jetted for sea level and I was at 4500 feet. I was very frustrated and couldn’t stand the thought of swapping jets prior to every ride. After reading nothing but good reviews on the Lectron carburetor I decided to give it a shot. My only concern was needing to adjust it but many reviews stated it was good right out of the box. When I received the carb it took about 30 minutes to install it, the construction seemed very nice and the new throttle cable is not cheap. I turned on the fuel and the bike started first kick! I’ve since tested the bike at the track, in the high desert mountains and local hills. This carb was absolutely perfect right out of the box, I have yet to find a flaw and I couldn’t foul a plug even if I tried. It really is just as good as fuel injection. Thank you for producing such a fine product. If it wasn’t for this company I’d sell the bike and go back to fuel injection.
