Gen II 4 Stroke Carbs

I purchased the Lectron when looking for a replacement for my CRF250.  It ran out of the box.  After a couple very simple adjustments, my bike was making more power than it ever had.  With my stock carburetor, it was an eight hour job to remove the plastics, tank, subframe, and rear shock to get the carburetor out so I could make an adjustment.  With the Lectron, I can adjust from idle through wide-open throttle, all within 30 minutes!  Tuning my bike is finally an option again and it is no longer something I dread.  On the other hand.  Once I have the Lectron dialed in, I’m done.  I do not have to continually make small adjustments that take half of my day if I want to maintain optimal settings throughout the seasons and altitude ranges here in California.  Forget about primary jets, secondary jets, needles, clip positions, leak jets, and accelerator pump modifications and adjustments.  With the Lectron, tuning the idle (speed and mixture) is as simple as a turning a screw without any disassembly.  Response is as fast or faster than ever (zero lag).  Tuning the mid-throttle is as simple as removing the top of the carburetor (three screws) and turning the metering rod in quarter turn increments and putting it back together, which I can now do on the bike!  Adjusting the wide open throttle is as simple as turning a screw, which I can do on the bike as well.  If you want perfectly dialed response and performance throughout the throttle opening and RPM range, Lectron is the easiest way to get there.  If you need to replace a stock carburetor, go with the Lectron which is smaller, lighter, simpler, easier to adjust and maintain, fits in and out without removing the subframe and suspension, and is adjustable on the bike!  If you don’t want to have to adjust the carburetor all the time due to changes in temperature and altitude, go with Lectron!
