Lectron Fuel Systems will be presenting a full booth with all of our New products for the 2012 Racing season. Full product line including Lectron carburetors, parts and accessories. Owners Kevin Gilham and David Dunne will be there to help you with any questions you my have. Kevin will also be giving instructions on how to tune as well as the technical theory behind the Lectron Carburetor.

Lectron Fuel Systems Racing into AMA Dragbike Championship Series
Lectron Fuel Systems, the manufacturer of the de-facto standard of motorcycle drag racing carburetors “Lectron”, is moving into the spotlight as the new Top Gas Series sponsor.
Kevin Gilham, previous Fast by Gast employee and Lectron guru, has purchased Lectron Fuel Systems of Lorena, TX.
Lectron Fuel Systems was founded in 1977 by Norman and Rosalind Quantz in Detroit MI and moved to its current location soon afterwards. Kevin has participated in many forms of racing. He started in motorcycle drag racing in 1978 setting numerous national records along the way.
Kevin contacted AMA Dragbike and wanted to get his company involved in the series right away and reach out to the racers who have used Lectron carburetors for many years as well as introduce new innovative products beyond carburetion.
“It was refreshing to hear from Kevin and his new business venture” commented Scott Valetti, AMA Dragbike President. “When Kevin expressed his desire to sponsor Top Gas I was very excited for our racers” he continued.
“I see Top Gas as one of the toughest and respected classes in the sportsman ranks. Reliable, repeatable performance is crucial to these guys. This is why we feel we fit in well” stated Gilham.
